Xbox app login failed

Have you logged in the console companion app, the suggestion it's not because I believe that the login it's failing, sometimes on app helps to work the other one

I did try this a week ago and it didn't work for me.

I just gave it another try and it still doesn't work.

Authentication from within games still fails, for example in Grounded: Xbox Live popup appears, I click on my account and the login fails with the above error code.

Login in every other Microsoft service works without a problem: Windows, Office 365, Outlook, and even this damn Xbox app.

Netflix. Changed my password on the website. Rebooted the Xbox.

Got disconnected from live AGAIN. rebooted Xbox. Loaded Netflix app. Logged in with new password.

Netflix worked. Stupid bug.

Xbox live is still playing silly buggers. Still randomly disconnecting after sloooooooooow login (or a failed login). Very very annoying.

I just installed the latest update, and it won't load. What is happening is that it's failing to login to xbox.com from the xbox apps. I can login to xbox.com in edge AND chrome, but I start Microsoft Sudoku and it tells me it's sorry but it can't log me
in right now, try logging in to xbox.com and restarting the app.

Obviously they have problems, but support from Microsoft seems to be at their traditional level: useless.

be sure to try and login with your account at
http://account.microsoft.com and verify if all information is up to date and correct, like billing info and payment options etc.

Also login at
http://account.xbox.com to see if that works without issues.

If that all works without issue, please try to login again with the Xbox Companion app, if that fails also try and download the beta version for this app, it should be available in the store to download.
