Xbox app keeps closing when I try to join a party

I have the same issue. Both xbox and pc are updated and all. Im also an xbox1 preview member.

Thanks for the feedback. Are you using the Xbox (beta) app or the standard Xbox app? If you're not using the Xbox (beta) app can you try downloading it and let us know if you're still encountering this issue?

In addition, you can send us feedback from within the Xbox (beta) app (which allows us to better investigate the issue) by navigating to the dropdown menu in the top left corner and selecting feedback.

I have tried testing out everything you have mentioned at it seemed to work for a while, until i noticed that it started to close/crash every time someone new joined a party i was in. I have tested it out with friends and when someone
joins the party who hasn't been in the current party session, my Xbox app closes down.

Thanks for your post. I understand you are experiencing an issue with joining party chats on the Xbox Mobile App. You may want to try reinstalling the app and attempting to join a party again.

Just so that I am clear when you are trying this in party chat? In game chat?

You can hear the other players in the chat but they can not hear you?

Are you starting the party through the stream on the xbox itself? Or are you starting the party through the xbox app on the pc itself?

These are two different things.

I personally have noticed that if I try and join a party through the Xbox itself and not the xbox app I can hear the other people but they can not hear me. If I join the party or start a party and have people join through the xbox app on the PC then it works
fine.

So try that and see if that fixes your problem.
