xbox app itself not launching

as I click the Xbox app it displays a black box for 1 sec and doesn't launch. I've tried fixing it by resetting my Microsoft store and whatever but nothing helped. I wanna play a game and I already have a game pass but I'm unable to install it because of this. Help asap

A lot of people are having this issue, it won't launch from the Xbox (Beta) app, but it launches perfectly fine from both the Xbox Console Companion app, and from the Start menu itself. It's an extra step needed to launch the game, but that should help
you get into the game until they resolve the issue with the app.

Sorry to hear about the issue. Let's try the steps below.

-Please logout and login on Microsoft store. Make sure that the date & time, timezone and region are correct

-Run this powershell command ( Run as administrator)
Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

-Delete Microsoft Store Local Cache Files
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe

Once done, restart your PC.

you should be able to launch the game via the Xbox (beta) app itself via the Installed Games section within the app.

Yes. I launch minecraft through the CruseForge launcher. Its a mod launcher that allows you to also load Vanilla minecraft through it. So yea. I did. Microsoft is butchering itself while trying to force service on us like XBOX app and Microsoft app store which in and of itself cause problems like not being able to launch your own games.
