Xbox App Issue : Not able to login

When did this issue starts happening? Were you able to login to those apps in the past?

First of all, check for Xbox app updates: enter Microsoft Store app > select More ... (upper right corner) > Downloads and updates > Get updates.

Furthermore, be sure Windows has the latest update: select the Start button, then select Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates. If there is an available update, select Install now.

If the issue persists, try to repair/Reset Xbox app:

1. Select Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features
   
2. Select the Xbox app
   
3. Select the Advanced options link under the name of the app.
   
4. On the page that opens, select Repair if it's available. If it isn't available or doesn't fix the problem, select Reset.
   

If all the previous tries didn't solve the problem, try to reset the Xbox App account cache:

Go to this path in File Explorer:

%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC\TokenBroker

Here you will find two directories: Accounts and Cache. Each folder contains one file in it. Delete them both, and try to log in to the xbox app again.

As I said yes, the console companion app worked just fine and let me login without any issue.

Also, I checked on another computer to see if I'd be able to login with my credentials and it let me load the app normally. The issue is localised to my computer.

I’m facing the same issue, and I followed the steps mentioned, even was able to create another account, but can’t proceed with the login of

my actual account. How to proceed? I don’t want to lose all my purchased games.

In my case, I was able to login into the xbox app, but the console isn’t listed there anymore, and I’m also unable to finish the setup via app as well...
