xbox app gives error 0x8024402e when installing anything (probably anything)

UPDATE a reboot fixed it but can anyone explain to me what is that error?

When exactly are you getting the error and what are you using the xbox console or on a PC? If anything if it a separate app you can try to uninstall and re-install the app.

DON'T FOLLOW MateusFontana's steps! Now I can't install anything within the Xbox app without errors. I'm probably going to have to reset Windows to fix it, which means all of my applications will be uninstalled just because of this bug and some terrible advice from an "independent advisor."

Xbox LIVE is allowing me to download anything that's free, but when I try to purchase anything, it gives me the error message.
