Xbox app friends profile goes blank

For the last 2 weeks now, I've not been able to browse my friends profiles nor my own. What happens is

- The Xbox app loads well.

- I want to see if a friend is in a party

- I click their profile and in 2 seconds their profile flashes their info

- then their profile goes totally blank. I don't see their info nor their picture.

I have to either, invite them to my own party even though they often are already in a party.

Or wait for them to notice I'm on, to invite me to a party.

I've been using this app for connection to XBL parties, since my headset broke 2 months ago.

sudoku totally disappears, or crashes, or gets stuck

Same here. The ad box goes blank and then the app shuts itself off. I've only noticed this today.

Screen Goes Blank

After playing the xbox for as little as five minutes the TV screen will go blank but the console continues to run. Have tried shutting both the xbox and TV down but this des not resolve the problem. Have linked the xbox to another TV but the fault still
occurs, there are no breaks in the hdmi cable and it ha been fine since buying it some 18 months ago. What could he problem be?

Could be a range issues...

Firstly I'd swap out your HDMI cable and see if that's the issue, then to be sure it's not the TV itself, try your Xbox on another TV.

If neither of those work, then it's likely a faulty graphics adapter in the condole and you'll need to send it in for a repair. You can do that here:

What kind of connections do you have on your TV?

Do you own another HDMI- or a component-cable?

Try to use each of them and check out if they will work.

If not, the console might be broken and you could request a repair.

Try and re-seat the HDMI OUT cable on the back of the Xbox and on the back of the tv too.

Since you've done the hard reset already, you could try a power cycle and leave everything unplugged for 5 minutes and then plug everything back in and try again.

If all that fails, you might try the console reset (the keep my games and apps) option
