Xbox app freeze on launch

I have this when the bug arrive :

I would suggest to completely uninstall the xbox app, make sure all folders are clean, and reinstall from the store...

I don't get these errors personnaly, i get errors about it not responding fast enough.

This morning i tried it again, i launched it more than 20 minutes ago and it still has not fully launched... Though it apprears to move on slooooowly...

 

i uninstall the app via a powershell command and know the apps could not downloading... error

 

Pareil rien ne marche... et microsoft s'en contrefiche

 

En + je comprends pas pourquoi on essaye de faire marcher cette app car de toute façon sur pc elle sert rien...

 

The issue is still here....

The apps freeze when i look into a profile 's friends....

I have reinitialised my pc...

Even the last update doesn't correct the bug...

I am a siver member of xbox live, is this about that ?

 

I think I found a fix.. download the xbox beta app from the store. it works perfectly. no crashes, no freezing .

Still the same with the beta app, when i clic on a profile friends the app crash...

This is very disapointed

 

there's a temp fix I found, to stop it from crashing, once you load the app, quickly click on friends and choose favorites. it will not crash, but if you go from favorites back to friends, it may crash

 

I can now confirm having done many tests that this issue is related to friends. everyone that has this issue have a lot of friends. I had like 300 and it kept crashing. I signed in using my second ms/xbox account that had only 1 friend and it didn't crash.
I then removed more than 200 of my friends from my main account and it is not crashing anymore. I currently have less than 100 friends and my Xbox app is working flawlessly. This shows it has something to do with the Hugh friends list. I removed most of my
friends cause I don't play with them anymore. I suggest you don't do the same and wait for a fix from the Xbox team.
