Discus and support Xbox app for pc wont install (I have 1903) in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; So last night I installed the app and bought the game pass for £1.     Xbox app for pc wont install (I have 1903)


    So last night I installed the app and bought the game pass for £1. After the app installed I began installing games however they would always error even when they reached 100%, so this morning I decided I would try and re-install the app but it will no longer
    install and gets stuck on the "making things awesome" phase of installation.

    Any idea's on how to fix ?

    Hi i had the same issue but i closed the app and when i open it after i agree of the terms and click install the freeze and the only way to closed is from task manger ,and i tried to find the folder in %appdata% and %localappdata% but nothing shows up

    Can you help me

    I have the same issue. Installer stuck on the installation process. There is no xbox folder in appdata and localappdata.

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to help.

    It's possible the original files for the app were not properly deleted. Open run window (Windowskey + R) - Type in: "%appdata%" - Delete the Xbox app (beta) for the PC Game Pass folder in the roaming folder (You should be in it already). Go
    back one folder, then you should end up in Appdata - Go to "Local" - Delete the beta Xbox app folder in there too. You can also get to the local folder by typing %localappdata% in the run window. Once you delete the folders for the app the is having issues,
    try re-installing again from this website https://www.xbox.com/xbox-game-pass/pc-games.
