Xbox App for PC having critical error with permissions after having factory reset a brand...

I have tried everything on that list.

I cannot even access powershell commands on the PC. I've resolved to return the laptop to HP and have them wipe the SSD and install windows clean, because at best all the official Microsoft fixes have done is make it impossible to use any microsoft "Application" at all.

The corrupted file has no path in my registry and gives itself weird superadmin privileges that prevent anyone from taking access even running powershell commands or DOS.

I attempted removing the corrupted app folder and all microsoft store apps immediately ceased to function, even after replacing the registry file.

Everything else works fine on the PC, I can install any 3rd party program, have full administrative access, except to devadmin functions like powershell, just cant do anything that requires the system to write in WindowsApps

I've got the same error too with 3 brand new discs. Tried the profile log-out, log-in. Tried factory resetting. Tried updating fully again after the factory reset. Still no luck. :-(

So you have a brand new Xbox (not second hand) and it fails on ip address failed when connected to the router after resetting the xbox network settings to factory defaults?

If they fail then please try a factory reset on the console (with keeping games and apps installed) via the steps shown here:

https://support.xbox.com/xbox-one/console/reset-console-to-factory-defaults

Keep in mind that after a factory reset you will have to redownload your profile which requires you to know the account credentials
