Xbox app for PC causing freeze during installs

The freezing occurs both during games and apps. My console has started freezing up, since the update, on the following titles...

1)Madden 12 (disc, installed to 16gb flash drive)

2)Final Fantasy XIII-2 (disc, installed to official 60gb HDD)

3)Sales & Specials app (installed to official 60gb HDD)

4)Amazon Video App (installed to official 60gb HDD)

5)Xbox Video app (installed to official 60gb HDD)

I'm hoping to be able to resume playing my games without the freezing. I hope this additional information helps.

I've been experiencing the exact same problem and only in the last couple of weeks where the game freezes often. Does anyone monitor these discussions? Is there a place to file a support ticket? Also, you may notice that the Mahjong app causes an
extreme surge of heat causing the fans to whirl like crazy during the freeze. what has crept into this software all of sudden to cause this problem? I also Microsoft Solitaire with xbox live and have experience no such problems with that app. Not too much
fun to play now.

I suppose this is just some sort of freak isolated incident judging from the lack of responses.

The download and the synchronization upon launching the games could be due to an internet fluctuation during the installation or download that caused the file to be corrupted.

Kindly try to connect your Windows PC device to a wired internet connection.

Then try to launch or download the games from Xbox app to see if it works.
