    Xbox App for iOS


    So I updated the Xbox app on my iPhone today (Oct. 19, 2020) and I am very upset with this latest version. Maybe it’s just my old self not understanding how the new redesigned app works. Is it just me or has all functionality to control my cable box and
    tv been removed??? Yesterday I could select and start the Oneguide app and control almost every feature on my cable box, including turning just my tv (not the xbox and tv) off and on. Today I can’t do ANY of that. In the app I can no longer find the Oneguide
    and I can no longer find the remote that controls my cable box/tv (yes I can easily find the Xbox remote with the A, B, X and Y buttons). So my Xbox One that was supposed to be the ONE media system for everything has devolved into a system that now requires
    me to use the app and multiple remotes when I, yesterday, could do everything I need just through the app. Am I crazy or am I missing something? Did MS really remove all that functionality??

    I'm also having the same issue, I've tried both PC and IOS Game pass app and xbox app and neither work. I use the IOS Game Pass and Xbox App.

    Resolved!

    Was able to delete it from Xbox app on iOS, after this old Xbox was removed from Xbox Game Pass app for iOS.

    Anything provided by an official app such as the Xbox LIVE iOS app is okay to use. :)

    Are you still running into issues with the app? To be sure, are you on an iOS device? The Xbox SmartGlass app is no longer supported on iOS and may not function because of this.

    If you are having issues on a none iOS device feel free to reach back out and describe exactly what happens!
