Xbox app failing to download apps

Hey, so recently I wanted to get hello neighbor 2 alpha 1, but the Microsoft store said I had to get from the xbox app. so I went over and started the download. it was downloading fine until it reached 100% then it stayed at 100% while saying error and gave me the error code: 0x80070005. I kept restarting the app and download but the result was the same. I looked up the error code and it said it was a windows update error which can't be right as i wasn't updating windows. Can someone tell me how to get this fixed?

the gaming services application are for all games that run on your windows, the malfunction causes this kind of problem, if you can't fix it, you'd have to restore or reinstall your windows.

Follow these steps:

Select the Start button in the lower left corner of the main screen and select Settings.

Select Update and Security > Check for Updates.

Select View optional updates, then select update KB5004476 from the list.

Select Download and Install.

When the update is complete, restart the device.

You should now be able to install, update and launch games.

Create a notepad file with the following name:

"RepairGamingServices.ps1"

inside the file paste this text (if quotes):

Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers

Then, to run, right-click on the file, and run as administrator. then restart windows. then you need to open the Xbox app from Windows 10 that will be warning you that you need to install an extra component for the app, accept and wait for the installation. After that, Microsoft guarantees that you will be able to reopen and download Xbox Game Pass games on Windows 10.

its not just gamepass games but also the update thing isn't there. all I see are Driver Updates:

If it doesn't allow you to change the settings is another symptom of a problem with the Xbox APP on your Windows

Alright hey and also how do I change where the Xbox app downloads games because it is currently glitched and won't let me change it. It's set to C:\PerfLogs and it won't let me change it. I don't know why it's set to that.
