Xbox App failed game installation

A couple of months ago I had a problem with the installation of Sea of Thieves through both the Xbox App and Microsoft Store, resulting in an infinite installation-error loop (0x80070005). I recieved no support back in the day, and I still have this issue. I have also noticed I have a folder in my secondary hard drive disk called A231BC6F-3B30-4C80-919E-DCEA2086E602 that I don't have access to, even with an administrator user. I have searched everywhere and tried many of the common troubleshooting methods other people had, but the only option left would be to format my hard disk and I would rather not having to do that. I can attach screenshots or a screen recording if necessary.

Sorry to hear it. If the Beta app is trying to install these games but is failing then please try installing from the Store app

App says "Installation failed on Xbox"

Rise of the Tomb Raider happily installing via the app straight after.

The game has nevwr been installed. It tries to start installing but fails and gives the error. I removed and reisntalled the xbox app but that did not help.
