    Hi, I've been unable to use the game pass for the better part of this year as the new Xbox App does not recognise my Microsoft Store account. Everything was fine while i could access the game pass through the MS Store but it's just not possible with the

    Upon getting to this screen i hit a dead end, i can not confirm anything and it simply shows me my MS account. Attempts to log out and log in with the account completes a full circle and drops me back in to the Xbox App with the message still being there.
    I haven't seen anybody else with this exact issue on the forums and i've tried everything that was used with similar errors to no avail. A potential factor that's unique is that I installed a new motherboard recently and perhaps that could be some sort of
    issue?

    I signed out on Microsoft Store App, and then signed back in using the same Microsoft account, but I cannot sign in on Xbox App it says, "We couldn't sign you in to Xbox live " and gives this error number: 0x8015DC0B.

    If you got an error with the above command, don't worry. It is not that important.

    So now you are not able to login on the Xbox app, right? Are you able to sign in to the Microsoft store? If so, are you trying to sign in to the Xbox app with the same Microsoft account as the Microsoft store?

    And are you able to sign in on the Xbox Console Companion app?

    You mean the store and app I can't sign into? The error is preventing me from signing into Microsoft. From the store, to the XBox app to Cortana.

    so today i tried playing forza horizon 4 and it logged me in to one of my random accounts that i just have.

    On the computer, the game uses the Xbox profile that is signed into the Xbox app, but it can cause issues if the account that is signed into the Microsoft store is different than the one signed into the Xbox app.

    So, please check if your Microsoft store account and the Xbox app account are the same and they are your main account. If possible, sign out of both apps, then sign in again.

    Sorry, do you mean you're also getting the same error on MS store app? Are you getting this error when signing in to a specific game server?

    If it persists, you can try resetting your password to refresh your account. Please also select the Start button > Settings > Accounts , then find the Microsoft account you used to sign in to the Xbox app and select Remove. Then go back to the Xbox app and sign in with the Microsoft account you just removed.
