Xbox App error code 0x80073d0d

I recently purchased fallout 76 from the store in xbox app was trying to install to an external 2 tb solid state drive, whenever I try and install it I get this error code. I recently tried to install it with game pass ultimate but I recieve the same error code so I bought it to see if that would change anything.

I have already tried repairing and resetting my xbox app, my computer is running windows 11 and is up to date on everything graphics and cpu drivers included. I tried to uninstall and reinstall gaming services as well as xbox app. I also ran wsreset.exe to reset the windows store to try and fix it. I tried going to the official microsoft support section to find my error code and see if there were any fixes for it and my error code is not even listed (0x80073d0d).

Help would be greatly appreciated.

it says it already is a ntfs file system and i have tried to move xbox app itself to the E drive but it says the same error code 0x80073d0d

i have done numerous steps to try and correct the xbox app not installing games on pc, i keep getting error code 0x80073d0d, any soloutions to this problem

It says it cannot move sea of thieves and gives me the error code 0x80073d0d.

By the way, reinsralling Gaming services didn't work for you buddy?

If you're allowed to install the game on C: drive, try instead creating (or if you don't mind formatting the external drive) a new partition on your external drive as NTFS and test again
