    Xbox app error code (0x409) 0x80080300


    Recently got a new computer and ever since day one I couldn't sign into Xbox.

    I tried most solutions on the web, reinstalling the app, installing Xbox app(beta), setting the Xbox processes to automatic is services.msc, running it as administrator, changing accounts.

    None of the solutions worked.

    I can still sign in on my old computer, phone and everything else I own.

    Xbox app error code (0x409) 0x80080300

    I checked the Xboxliveapp notepad in Localstate looks to be a failure in retrieving a token.

    Not sure how I fix this.

    I tried to replace the Xbox files with my other computers files and played with the start-up settings in services.msc and system configuration. It began force closing, so I switched back to the original files.

    There are more Xbox files on my other computer, not sure if it's because I never had the chance to get the app started on my new PC.

    I couldn't post the picture, image insert keeps failing.

    My new pc is also missing the Microsoft, App Cache and Token Broker folders from the AC folder.

    Hey Tylers Legend! Check out the post
    here     for some suggested solutions. It looks like removing the Microsoft account has helped some folks, and a powershell command helped others. Give that a shot and let me know how it goes!

    Powershell doesn't do much for me. I thought tried removing my account, I guess I didn't do it correctly from the look of the thread you gave me. I have one question, will it delete my files and installs?

    Hey Tylers Legend! When removing the Microsoft Account it should ask if you would like to remove the files as well, but i would suggest backing up any important files just in case. Thanks!

    Unable to Sign into the Xbox Console Companion Error (0x409) 0x80080300

    I get the same issue but only on 1 pc, Reset Windows Stored app and Uninstalled and uninstalled Xbox Console Companion and stil unable to login (0x409) error.

    Unfortunately, the resource you shared does not have a solution for the issue I am facing (basis the image above). Every time in click on the sign in button, there is a window that pops up for a fraction of a second and then disappears
    and the error code (0x409) 0x80080300 shows up below the sign in button.

    Would you happen to have some other solutions for me to try?
