Xbox App Error code (0x409) 0x80080300

When trying to access the Xbox app the error code "(0x409) 0x80080300 " keeps popping up. It's been like this for a few days and have been searching for a possible fix but none of them worked. Also when trying to start Forza horizon 3 a gray window appears
for a split second and then a message saying "sign in required" pops up in the game.

Fixed it with this:

Hold down Windows + X + A , enter the following two lines of instructions to create a new administrator local account:

Net user User 123 / add

Net localgroup administrators User / add

( User is a new account, 123 is a new password)

Re-switch to Microsoft account login

To resolve error code (0x409) 0x80080300, we certainly want to get this taken care of, we suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the Xbox app on your computer. please follow the instructions below:



    1. Type Windows Powershell in search box.



    2. Right click on Windows Powershell and select Run as administrator.



    3. Copy and paste the following command.

         get-appxpackage *Microsoft.XboxApp* | remove-appxpackage 



4. Press Enter key.





After uninstalling the Xbox app, I suggest you to download and install the app again and check.
