XBOX app error 0x409 0xD0000001

I haven't been able to log in to my Xbox app on my new laptop. The store works fine but when I try to log in on the Xbox app it gives the following error code 0x409 0xD0000001 I have already tried the following potential solutions (though they didn't work
for me):

Open Windows Store. ( Press Windows key and click on Store tile)

Click on the USER icon and select Download and update.

Click on Check for Updates.

If there are any pending updates available select Update All.

Press Windows key + X and click on Command Prompt (Admin) to open the Elevated Command Prompt. (If prompted for a password, type the password and click Allow)

Type WSreset.exe and hit Enter

Exit Command Prompt.

Press Windows key + X on the keyboard.

Click on Control panel.

Type “Troubleshooting” without quotes in the Control panel search box.

Click on Troubleshooting and click on View all.

Click on Windows Store Apps troubleshooter and follow the on-screen instructions.

Xbox App doesn't work on Windows 10 (another 0x409 error)

Hi Xbox Forums

I recently acquired a Dell XPS 15.

the UWP Xbox app doesn't work.

error (0x409) 0xD0000001 appears. I don't know what is causing this error.

I re-installed the Xbox app.

I installed the beta.

Nothing works.

I tried going on google and the situation was worse since it didn't work.

Please help me, someone...

Also before you say anything, yes I tried the UWP app fixer on the Microsoft website.

The error code 0x409 0xD0000001 may be due to corrupted profile data. We recommend signing in to a different user account. Signing in to a different account can help isolate if this is caused by a corrupted profile data. Here are the steps:

Press the Windows button on your device or keyboard, or select the Windows icon from the bottom-left corner of the main screen.

Select your account name from the top-left corner of the menu, and then select Switch account.

Sign in with an account other than the one you were using.

Sign in to the Xbox app and check if the same issue occurs.

Do get back to us with the results.

There are several reasons why you are getting Error (0x409)0xD0000001 on Xbox app, some of the components of the app is corrupted or the drivers of your PC needs to be updated. We will need additional information to isolate this issue, please provide us
additional information by answering the following questions below:

1. Are you using a Windows Insider Program?

2. Are you trying to use an Xbox beta app?

3. Have you updated your drivers on Windows 10?

4. Have you made any changes on your account prior to the issue?

This actually worked for me, but I had to also run the troubleshooter here which let me add my Microsoft Account (Since I'm not signed in with a Microsoft account) to my Standard Windows (Non-Microsoft) Account.

I'm having the exact same issue.

I have scrolled through Google several times with no hope. Spoken with Xbox Support reps, they have just done the same thing as me (Googled).

The only resolution I can see people having is the below:

a: Press Windows key + X.

b: Then click PowerShell(Admin)

c: Now type the following command and hit enter

Get-AppxPackage *windowsstore* | Remove-AppxPackage

Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage

After a restart (signing out and back in didn't work for me) I entered the following command (again in a powershell in admin):

Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

This didn't work for me.

Let me know if it works for you.
