Xbox app don't recognize the games i've installed in another harddrive

Hello Paulo, are you playing on Pc, what would be your operating system, Win 10 or 11?

Have you checked if you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 22H2?

Also, make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed, it works with the Xbox App.

Install game on your harddrive. that should help since you xbox will recognize it as a legit game, and the disc will be needed to just act as a key to start the game.

Thank you for reply, after resetting my console I realized every game and app stored on my harddrive won't work and i can't install games on my harddrive but the issue seems to be my harddrive, which is a Xbox harddrive. Not sure if you guys can still
help me or recommend who i can ask for help.

With the latest Xbox app update you can install the games to a different drive. With that, I haven't tested that, but you might be able to then use that on another computer? You might need to initialize the install in the app for it to recognize that
it's already on that drive? That's untested on my end, but I think worth a shot for troubleshooting.

Game Pass games use protected folders, and if format Windows, it no longer recognizes any game even if it is on another external hard drive or hard drive. If you install it on a Windows or PC you don't recognize any of the games.
