Discus and support Xbox app doesn't record all games. in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I use the Xbox DVR thing to record games.     Xbox app doesn't record all games.


    I use the Xbox DVR thing to record games.

    However, it won't record Minecraft, for I use another laucher for Minecraft.

    Plz tell me how to fix it, or plz fix it.

    Party Chaty not recording.

    I use the Xbox App to record party audio for my YouTube videos. With this new windows update my Xbox App doesn't record other people in the party anymore. Are there any solutions?

    XBox App Recording

    Like we record games, I wanted to record an app demo on Xbox. However,

    when I snap the Game DVR onto my app, the start new clip button is

    always disabled for apps. Does anybody have any idea why and what are

    the options to record an XBox App ?

    good afternoon

    just rest your mouse over the recording button to see the reason, in general if another recording app is active it doesn't allow recording, if the games are in another resolution not supported by the app it also disables it, it doesn't record all games due to some limitations.

    Sorry, but it is not currently possible to upload console-streamed game videos. When you record a streamed game, the GameDVR video is associated with the Xbox app, not with the streamed game (because the recording feature doesn't know you are streaming or
    what you are streaming). Consequently it cannot be uploaded (Xbox Live knows that the Xbox app is not a game).

    Ok, my friend. You can try this, please:

    Go to Settings in the Xbox Game Bar, Capturing, then “Audio to Record”. By default it is set as Game. You can change it to All as that includes Game audio, your microphone, apps, etc. This maybe can help to not stop recording when you alt + tab.

    If it doesn't help too, please let me know.

    What all shows on Xbox Profile Activity?

    Hi TiberiusOptimus,

    Normally, the Activity feed section in the Xbox app shows you all in-game activities, recorded games, and achievements that you unlocked. If you're using the Xbox app on your phone, it will not show that you're watching videos from the
    Youtube app or from other apps. The same goes if you're watching videos from your computer unless you recorded it using the Game DVR feature in the Xbox app. Any video clips recorded using the Game DVR will show up in the Activity feed section.

    Let us know if you have clarifications.

    From the Game DVR screen within the Xbox app, you can access and edit all game clips recorded on Windows 10, as well as clips shared from your Xbox One. Editing in the Xbox app is restricted to Trim at this time. For more info:
