xbox app doesnt let me access game pass games despite owning pc game pass

Please make sure of the correct account login because the Xbox app might be logged into a different account. To check this, open the Xbox App and click your profile icon in the top-right corner.

Verify that the account matches the email tied to your Game Pass subscription here: https://account.microsoft.com>; Services and subscription.

Once verified that the subscription is active, proceed with resetting the Xbox App by going to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps.

Locate the Xbox App, click the three dots (⋮), and select Advanced Options.

Use the Reset feature.

And then uninstall the Xbox app via Settings > Apps > Installed Apps.

Reinstall it from the Microsoft Store.

Next is to recheck region and account settings because if your region settings don’t match the region where Game Pass is subscribed, errors can occur. Go to Settings > Time & Language > Region and ensure your region matches the subscription.

Then clear the Microsoft Store cache. Kindly press Windows + R, type wsreset, and hit Enter.

I own game pass Ultimate and therefore have access to play games on my Xbox and my pc. but recently it seems that if I try to launch a game on my pc it says I need to renew game pass. I know I don't have to renew it because I can play sea of thieves
(a game I don't own but play through game pass) on my Xbox. but when I try to play it on my pc it gives me the message from above. I've looked through my account to my subscriptions tab on the Xbox app on pc. and it tells me I own game pass pc, but if I refresh
the page it'll disappear. I just want to know if this a bug that would be fixed soon or if I need to rebuy game pass for pc. but for now I can't play any game pass games on my pc even though I own game pass ultimate, which is SUPPOSED to let me play game pass
games on console and pc. I've tried restarting my computer, relaunching the game, going onto the Xbox console companion and then going to the my games tab. then I try to launch sea of thieves through there but it NEVER works. I tried this yesterday and
thought maybe it was just a mistake with Xbox servers. but here I am a day later making this post because it still wont work.

I've been having that problem a lot with Game Pass on PC as well. For me, signing out of the Xbox Beta app and then signing back in seems to fix it for a few days. Hopefully that works for you.

Yes, I normally plays games on my PC. Yes I have game pass, but I am not trying to play any games from game pass. The app doesnt show ANY of my owned games, I am trying to see if my Call of Duty Modern Warfare showed as I wanted to try to play it through
the app before I had to buy the game again for PC.
