Xbox app crashing on startup

Before this is deleted, I know this is a duplicate issue, however there is not single solution there that has helped me.

Everytime I try to start the xbox app on my windows 10 machine, It crashes as soon as it tries to load the images on the homescreen.

I have:

* Cleared windows store cache

* Cleared xbox cache

* Uninstalled/Reinstalled the xbox app

* Uninstalled/Reinstalled the Xbox gamebar app

* Reset Both Windows store and Xbox app

* "upgraded"/reinstalled windows 10

* wsreset

and many others I can't think of but can point out when asked

Gamebar still works and I can use that normally, but I have no access to gamepass or anything.

Any help is really appreciated.

Hello, i was also having this issue and none of the fixes I've done have worked. The xbox launcher was working but then i set up a 2tb external drive and i had

to give myself admin permission to change where all new apps are installed and after i finally got all that to work the xbox launcher wouldn't open. Everything

else works just fine its only the xbox launcher and the microsoft store + all microsoft games thats doing this.

I don't have any windows 10 update available to download. I've also tried to create a new user, but the issue persists.

Hello BetaSpydog, have you checked if you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 21H2, because recently came out the latest update to Windows 10 and 11.

Updates often seen as optional, Microsoft released major fixes this week, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed.

If you haven't updated yet, click the link below, update and then make all subsequent security updates.

Also make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed, it works with the Xbox App.
