    Xbox app crashes when playing videos


    When clicking on a video in the activity stream, or in the store, the Xbox app will crash

    If the video begins to play automatically in the activity stream, it will not crash. It's only when specifically clicking on the play icon.

    This happens in both the built-in Xbox app and also the beta Xbox app in Windows 10

    Xbox crashes when playing videos

    Everytime I watch a video on YouTube my xbox one freezes the video and instantly shuts down. This has even happened when watching a game trailer in the xbox store. Has anyone else had this problem? This wasn't a problem when I got my console on day one,
    it has only happened in the last week or so. I guess I'll have to contact Microsoft and get a replacement...does anyone know how long that process takes? What sucks is most of my games are digital downloads. If I get a replacement console I will have re download
    everything and there goes my bandwidth for the month.

    edge keeps crashing while using facebook. it especially crashes when i view videos if i don't press B before the video finishes the Edge app crashes me back to my homescreen

    Ok, I will report it, thank you for your answer.

    To add to my initial report:

    - I don't actually have to play the videos to make it crash. Just browsing the initial feed over a video (so when video autoplay starts I'd guess) crashes the app. I have to scroll fast over videos if I want to inspect my feed :D

    Just download your most played if need be. I also heard they send you a loner first and put a holding charge on a credit card so at least you have your one until the 'loner' comes. Sadly you would have to download games on your loner and then do a again
    when they send back your refurbished original. I could be wrong though, I'm just going off hear say
