Xbox app crashes when joining a party

When joining a party, the xbox app crashes instantly without an error message. The same thing happens when I open the store. I have tried the troubleshooter and rescaling with the slider in the display settings, nothing helped.

Party Crashing

Whenever i start the party app my xbox just freezes and then the app crashes, its the same with joining friends parties too, im not the only one experiencing this problem either recently, ive turn my internet and xbox one off and on again, still continues
to freeze and crash, it was working fine earlier today. i was in a party with a friend, then a stranger joined my party and thats when my party app stopped working.

 

Xbox app won’t let me join group party!!!

so I was looking for a roleplaying groups on GTA 5 and I found a group and entered it,they host sent me an invite to group party and every time I got the invite my app would crash or when I tried joining the party there’s would be error saying “something
went wrong” it is very frustrating!!

 

I found a work around. I made the app full screen to join the party and it didn't crash

 

What version of the app are you using?

I tried the full screen method. Doing that prevents the app from crashing, but still doesn't let me join parties. When I try to join, the loading circle appears. Then after 2 minutes, it asks me to join the party again.

 

I'm using version 19.21.7006.0
