Discus and support Xbox app crashes upon entering remote play in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; My xbox app on my pc recently has been crashing immidately on connecting to my xbox it loads the xbox logo and plays the connection noise but no image...     Xbox app crashes upon entering remote play


    My xbox app on my pc recently has been crashing immidately on connecting to my xbox it loads the xbox logo and plays the connection noise but no image ever appears afterwards just a black screen then crashes.

    This is crashing is new my xbox app is fully updated and on the same network I dont understand why it crashes as my phone is able to connect without a problem could you help?

    You gotta press the menu button on the controller INSIDE the app in order to enter your login information, the only problem that I see is that upon trying to enter said username and passcode the app crashes immediately.

    Such a bummer.

    I can't even make it to the friends list...

    My Xbox app, Xbox beta, and Smart Glass apps are crashing immediately upon launch, I see the green loading screen for a fraction of a second then crash. Very frustrating.

    Having the same issue myself.

    Xbox app on iOS 12.2 (iPhone XS), crashes upon the Microsoft account login screen. Have submitted the crash report, so fingers crossed..!

    Yes, I agree. This is similar like remote play (app is the same). In the old xbox companion app for remote play you can use 4 controllers to remote play but unfortunally we canot use old xbox companion app with xbox series.
