Xbox app, can't join parties, tried everything.

So my mic wires are broken right now for console but I can still use it for PC, I've downloaded the Xbox app but I can't connect to parties. It puts me in the party but I just get

" Connecting "

Everyone connects to the party but me ( I can't hear them ) then it just says

" Your network settings are blocking party chat. [0x89231806] "

I press the " Go to network settings " and all it says is " Teredo address not obtained " I've follow the " Help me fix it " and nothing works.

I've tried doing everything Xbox App NAT Type Displays Teredo Is Unable to Qualify | Xbox App on Windows 10 says but after about 3 tries and multiple
restarts, nothing. I've joined about 30 parties just trying everything and always the same. Everyone connects but me.

I've done solution 1/2/3/5. I don't have the stuff needed for 4.

I really have no clue what to do anymore. Anyone else had this and knows a fix or am I just doomed to never getting it to work?

I cant load friends, and now I cant play games....

The friend list app is broken atm. Microsoft needs to fix it. I can't join parties or see whose online.

Sorry to hear you're having so many issues with this. If you're using the Beta version of the Xbox App (if not you can download this from the Store), can you please submit feedback after encountering this issue so we can investigate this further? We have
received a few reports of the Teredo address not obtained issue but it'd be great to have more data.

So I've downloaded the beta app, I load it up and I just get a green screen with an Xbox logo in the middle. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled 3 times. Nothing so far.

I think my computer just doesn't want me using party chat.

Sorry to hear that's not working for you either! Have you tried deleting your profile information from the Xbox app and the console and re-adding it? The new issue you described sounds like it could be sign in related.

Tried that, still nothing. My normal Xbox app gives me the green screen and I get a " Sign in " option. The beta app is still just a green screen. This is what I'm getting -

If I leave it open for a while, it just closes itself.

Update on this, the Xbox Beta app is now working. But I get the exact same issue when I join parties and I still get the same link to fix the problem. So party chat via Xbox App is still not working for me at all.

 

Well it's now working. What that Xbox link was telling me to do was all wrong and nothing to do with the issue I had.

All I had to do was Google " how to install teredo tunneling pseudo-interface " and the first link was what I needed.
