    Xbox App cannot install game


    Hello,

    I'm currenty experiencing problems with Xbox App.

    Problem itself:
    When I bought Dead by Daylight (DBD for short), it installed without any problems and was running, but now I cannot install it nor play it.
    I've tried installing different game - Roblox and it went without any problems, but when comes to DBD only just by clicking the install button, it instantly cancels itself, and shows error - 0x00000001. I've looked trough many forums for help, but couldn't find anything helpfull.

    PC Info:
    I'm on Windows 11 build 22483.1011
    Xbox app version - 2110.1001.6.0
    Gaming Services - 3.58.14001.0
    Xbox Game Bar - 5.721.10202.0

    And, when you say "I can install games now, but I still cannot see any of the games"

    This is via Xbox app? Or are you installing the games from the Microsoft Store?

    Unable to install Gears 5 - PC

    Seems like Gears 5 needs to be installed using the Xbox PC Beta App. Please check if your Windows 10 is version 1903 or not. If it is an earlier build the Xbox App does not seem to install. i have this problem with my Surface Book 2 which cannot update to
    1903 due to an issue with that build and the surface line. This means i cannot install the Xbox PC app, and as a result i cannot install Gears 5.

    The store on a regular computer links to your Xbox App on PC which shoudl allow you to install it.

    Yes - as per my post. I use the media tool to create an iso file and then did a reinstall, keeping my files.

    Doing that got everything working again for a few hours.

    Unfortunately, most of the problems then recurred (unable to install or uninstall games from the xbox app, cannot cancel existing queued installs, cannot run most games on the xbox app).
