    Hi Xbox,

    I have a problem with the xbox app.

    When i make a clip on my xbox one and then view it from xboxdvr.com or xboxclips.com it looks fine.

    But when i upload a clip from my xbox app it looks zoomed in for some reason as u can see in the 2 videos!

    but then when u click on play it looks fine again -_-

    are u guys able to fix it so the preview of the clip looks normal aswell?

    I've been having major issues with YouTube freezing at random times when playing a vid.

    Also streaming films from the market place are unwatchable as they constantly do the same thing. The Twitch app does the same. I haven't done a huge amount of online gaming yet though.

    The only way I can get them to resume is to go to settings and check the network connection, go back to the app and they usually resume. Then freeze again at a random interval.

    I've played with all the settings on my router (BT home hub 4, 40mbs download speed), added the Xbox One to the DMZ and it hasn't made a bit of difference.

    As an experiment, before ringing Microsoft, last night I tried a wired connection through a wifi extender that I use elsewhere in the house. Worked flawlessly.

    So unless anyone has other suggestions, it appears to me that my Xbox 's wifi has an intermittent fault. In two minds how to deal with this. Trying to get a repair or replacement prior to Xmas may be difficult, or do I go and buy some decent home plugs.
    I was so annoyed that I reordered a PS4 yesterday. Won't get that for Xmas either Xbox App bug Zooming in :mad:

    It is a case to case basis when you upload a clip from my Xbox app and it looks zoomed in, Your Xbox app is maybe corrupted or the drivers of your PC needs to be updated.

    Here are two methods to isolate the issue:

    Method 1: Reinstall Xbox App.

    1. Type Windows Powershell in search box.



    2. Right click on Windows Powershell and select Run as administrator.



    3. Copy and paste the following command.

             get-appxpackage *Microsoft.XboxApp* | remove-appxpackage 



    4. Press Enter key.


    Note: After uninstalling the Xbox app, we suggest you to download and install the app again and check.



    You can download the Xbox app from the following
    link    .







    Method 2:

    Here is a
    link     on how to update drivers in Windows 10

    Don't forget to let us know how it turns out.

    Thanks for heling but this didnt fix the problem.. it has to do with xbox app zooming in the thumbnail, as when u look at my other profile HERE u can instantly see that the left one is
    zoomed in if u havent clicked on it yet "thumbnail"

    i would realy love to see a fix for this.

    btw this is not only for screenshots!

    the video on the right is what i took on xbox one with game dvr, i downloaded that to my pc and cut it to 15 seconds and uploaded it via the xbox app and as u can see it has that same zoomed in bug.HERE

    i have his problem too, it looks that the thumbnail is stretched out! If u look u can see the height is good but the with is stretched out!

    Can I Zoom on my Xbox one?

    There is no Zoom app available on Xbox One. So it's not possible to do that.
