Xbox app beta - How do I stop this from appearing?

The bit I've highlighted here in orange: -

I never want to see that, but it switches to that at random and once it does, I can't see how to get the feed of friends' clips, achievements etc. back without exiting and restarting the app.

To me that stuff is basically just spam. There should be a toggle to turn it off.

Xbox Beta App change club from Private to Public how?

Hi,

I setup a club on the Xbox Beta App, and I would like to change it from Private to Public how would I do this, as I don't see any option?

@SigmaThgeDJ, how often are you seeing this occur? Do you always have other (non-suggestion) content in your activity feed from your friends and games? One last ask - next time this occurs, could you click on the feedback button (smiley face) and submit
feedback? This will send additional logs we will look at.

It happened a handful of times yesterday, which is what prompted me to come here and post about it, but it hasn't happened again since I started this thread.

The only stuff I usually see in the feed are Game DVR clips, achievements unlocked, friend adds, Twitch stream stuff, and text-based posts, which is presumably all I should be seeing.

That other stuff appeared at random, so my feed disappeared and was replaced by that.

If it happens again I'll report it via the app, although I believe I reported it last night before posting on here.

You can disable auto updates to games and apps in the Microsoft Store through the Store's settings.

1.Select the Start screen, then select Microsoft Store.
2. In Microsoft Store at the upper right, select the account menu (the three dots) and then select Settings.
3. Under App updates, set Update apps automatically to Off.
You can also manually pause or cancel updates if they do start through the download queue in the Microsoft Store. To get to the queue select the account menu (the three dots) > Downloads and updates.

Hi Siduas,

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand you are asking how to show online. You will need to go to the companion app, not the Xbox beta app. Then it works just like the Xbox console to change. Click on profile, then where it says appear offline or
online, select from the drop down which one you like. Note: it will not show this on the Beta app.
