Xbox App and Xbox Console Companion on PC not signing in? Error 0x80048869

I keep getting a error on Both the Xbox app and the Console companion on PC with the error message "We couldn't sign you in to Xbox live 0x80048869 " it gives me the option to try again or switch account. Try again just loops back to the same message and
Switch Account lets me select my actual Xbox live email which then loads a page that says "You'll need internet for this 0x800704cf" I am posting this on the same computer so, of course I have internet. I was looking at other posts and I have Repaired the
Xbox app and also I have reset the Xbox Companion app. I am just stuck for the time being. Any help is appreciated.

It can happen rarely and it will be automatically fixed within a couple of days. For the time being you can also do some troubleshoot like try login with VPN, Update app and Windows, Uninstall and Reinstall xbox app, update network drivers etc.

Dang, if you have the Xbox Console Companion app on your PC try signing into that and stay signed in, then try the beta app.

Sign in to the Microsoft Store and in the Xbox Console Companion app, check if you get the same error.

Sorry to hear it. I would recommend opening the Xbox Console Companion on your PC and ensure that you're signed in as the proper account. If you are not then please sign out then delete the beta app. Sign your gamertag into the console companion then
redownload the beta app. This should solve the issue.
