Xbox App and Network issues.

My current issue is that my windows settings show that my Xbox live multiplayer is blocked and that toredo is unable to qualify. I have tried the work around in command prompt, disabling hidden network devices that may interfere, uninstalling my antivirus and vpn, adding exception to the firewall, and restarting in between every step of the way. This is very frustrating and not very user friendly. I have a valid internet connection. Firewall in enabled with default policy. there is no updates available for windows or any of my security features. I have no idea what else needs to be done. yes i tried hitting the fix it button. it didn't work.

Look up the default IP of the router you have, the one from your internet provider or a third party one may have bought, and enter that address in your browser. It will bring you to a login page. You can also look up the default credentials most of the time (I recommend changing the password to something more secure but that's up to you.) Usually there will be an "advanced options" tab or something similar and there you can find "Port Forwarding" and then enter the suggested port numbers with the correct protocol type (UDP, TCP, or Both.)

That's what I mean... You have to enter your IP into your browser. From there it's different depending on your router.

The point I'm trying to make is that this seems a little excessive and inconvenient just to play online games on my PC. I know how to do it myself but most people don't. I don't have these issues playing steam games or with Uplay and Origin.

Sorry.. but have these ports open is important to have the best experience with multiplayer games...
