Xbox App and Game pass Apps - iOS

Hello there,

I have a small gripe in that the iOS Xbox companion app runs in landscape mode and the Game pass app runs in Portrait mode!

This is fine however when you go to the Game pass app from the Xbox app this is frustrating! as you have to keep manually rotating you iPad.

Yours hopefully waiting for a fix!

I'm also having the same issue, I've tried both PC and IOS Game pass app and xbox app and neither work. I use the IOS Game Pass and Xbox App.

Well for iOS you MUST have iOS account

And xgu linked to the account if you don't you can't stream as xgu is needdd

You'll need to download the Xbox Game Pass app from the App Store in order to use it. Downloading the app is free, however, you'll need to pay a subscription in order to actually access any of the games.

Resolved!

Was able to delete it from Xbox app on iOS, after this old Xbox was removed from Xbox Game Pass app for iOS.

I'm afraid that this just looks like the app design at the moment. It would be worth putting this down at the

request a feature to let them know.

I would find it very frustrating having to keep changing the rotation of my device because of the app design. Hopefully they will allow auto rotate on the apps soon for your sanity!

There is a setting on phones to turn off the rotate function. Have you tried turning off rotate to see if that helps?
