Xbox app account confusion

So I accidentally logged out of my Xbox account on my xbox app. At the same time I had an alternative account with the same email but not the same password as my main account. Whenever I try and log into my main account with the same email and with a different password than my alternate account, it goes to my alternative account. I am sure the passwords are different but the emails are the same. How do I log into my main account without that happening

Thanks for reaching out to the forums! It sounds like you may need to completely remove the account from your pc and not just the Xbox app for the time being. I am linking the Microsoft Support site that gives detailed instructions on how to remove the account from your device. Add or remove accounts on your PC (microsoft.com)

the xbox account IS the microsoft account, if you have 2 emails then you have 2 xbox accounts, sign into windows and the windows store/xbox app with the correct email with the sub attached.

I was trying to use 2 differents name for my account to remove confusion (Xbox and Microsoft account)

With technical support they could help me, the problem come from the fact that on the Microsoft store I was still connected on my Account A, so even connected on account B in the Xbox App. It would confuse the App and then I needed both of them to have a subscription on Xbox Pass Ultimate.

Which is more or less what you suggested. Thank you

Sorry, maybe I confused you. I'm already signed in with my one (and only) Microsoft Account. I thought that signing in with a local account could reset the Login for the Xbox app. Thanks in advance for your patience.

Which turn out to be true because with the technical support we pin point the problem. On the Microsoft store I was still connected on my account A, so even if I was connected on account B in the Xbox App. It would confuse the Xbox app and then I needed both of them to have a subscription on Xbox Pass Ultimate.

Hey HBK SeanMichael,

UWP means Universal Windows Plattform. That means that a Developer only need to develop one App that can be used across Windows 10 PC, Windows 10 Mobile and Xbox One. The Stores of all these devices are merged into one store. So you dont need to worry about
it stated as UWP it most certainly will be a UWP then.

The Netflix App found on Xbox One is indeed already the UWP Version, aswell as Groove, Onedrive, Hulu and stuff. They should all share your experience across your Win10 devices.

If you search for Netflix on your Xbox One and look under the Description there is stated:

Available on: Xbox One, PC, Mobile device. Any app thats labeled in that way is always a UWP App.
