Xbox android app won't get past sign in screen

I cannot get the Xbox android app to open, when i try to sign in it just comes up with a different error code every time.

I cant open it or the gamepass app.

I tried uninstalling numerous times and cleared cache repeatedly. Both apps used to work but since reinstalling them they wont open. I'm using android 6.0, any suggestions?

Is the app fully up to date? is there any updates you need to install on your mobile phone as this could effect the app?

Your Phone/Tablet May be outdated, Please review the app in the google play store and see if your Phone/Tablet Meets the requirments. The only workaround is to use the web browser go to https://www.xbox.com/en-US/ Click
'My Xbox'

Between uninstalling, clearing cache, and then reinstalling, are you rebooting?

Happens to me, a lot.

Re-install the app and then try again after a few days.
