Xbox and PC don't update same time

I have Minecraft for the pc and Minecraft for the Xbox. Sometimes we can play together sometimes we can't. The pc always gets an update about a week before the Xbox and this is really freaking annoying. Usually when it comes to patches things are still compatible with each other as long as the first two digits are the same, and the last doesn't matter... NOT WITH MINECRAFT... no you have to have the exact same patch no matter how little of an update it is. For some reason the pc always gets an update about a week or two before the Xbox. Every single time there's an update my kids can't play together. I will uninstall, reinstall, check for updates all the works on both devices every time there's an update... the only solution I have is to wait till the Xbox's patch is released... WHY ISN'T IT THE SAME TIME?!? How can I get them both to play together 24/7? why does one update so far ahead of the other and can I stop updates or select specific updates? This is by far the most infuriating thing Microsoft has ever done. I'm about to just block all traffic to microsoft from my router so neither can get an update, ever.

I understand that you're having conflicts when a new minecraft update is released on PC but take a bit more than expected to be released on Xbox

Sorry for the inconveniences, right now I don't know why the developer (Mojang) decides to launch first the new update on PC

To avoid this problem in the future the best option is turn off automatic updates for the game on PC and as soon as the Xbox version receives an update, update the PC version as well.

You can try asking them for a detailed explanation or why things are like this right now / share this feedback

make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed.

If you haven't updated yet, click the link below, update, and make all subsequent security updates.

Also, make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store, and make sure you have

the Xbox Companion App installed, it works with the Xbox App.

Yes, I auto-update windows. Just checked and it's up to date, Checked the xbox companion app, checked the xbox app, everything is up to date on the PC. I don't see what that has to do with the Xbox always being behind on Minecraft updates. Like right now my Minecraft on windows PC is at at 1.19.30, and the Xbox is at 1.19.22, I check the app on the Xbox and it says there are no updates available. I delete it and go to the store to redownload it, and I still cant get the 1.19.30 and this happens EVERY SINGLE TIME there is an update. Xbox always takes a week or more before it will show there's an update.

Do not worry today should also update for PC,

however console and PC are two different things so there is that the updates don't come out at the same time.

It is that way because a profile is meant for use by one person. You're trying to use two functions without having two accounts, so it shouldn't be surprising that
it isn't working.
