xbox and other microsoft apps sign in pop ups not opening

i may have found my issue, my pc doesnt have the account management service, i have looked through it about 8 times and cant see i at all, even checked if it was prefixed with windows a few times, cant find it

hey there, i had the same problem yesterday. the way i found of fixing it is by turning on the Account Management Service inside of the services "page" inside of windows.

Press Windows + R, and then type "services.msc" inside of the bar, press enter, and on the new window, look for Account Management Service. Double click it, and change the Startup type to automatic.

That fixed it for me, but I'd be happy to help if that doesnt work, just let me know!

in this case I can think on 3 options if your windows system and all apps are up to date:

1. Try uninstalling the most recent windows update, just in case it is the one that is causing conflicts

2. If you're on Windows 11, downgrade to 10 and try again. Or do the opposite case if you're able to upgrade to 11.

3. Perform a clean boot keeping games and files on your actual Windows version, in that way you're going to have a clean installation of windows system.

My computer is in Spanish, so it could have something to do with the fact you couldn't find it. Try looking for "Web Account Management Service"?
