Xbox 'always on' but sign in takes as long as power up

I set my Xbox One to always on a couple of weeks ago and all was well to begin with. However, for about a week now, each time I prompt the XBO to turn on, the time it takes to sign me into my account is only marginally quicker than had I switched it on from
a complete shut down. I've checked my internet connection and everything is fine there, so is there anything else I can do to speed up the sign in process?

same here cant sign in and everything says its connected.....this better not take as long as it took to get my power brick back (4 months)

 

Will the 24-hour check in happen automatically in low-power state?

[/quote]Probably about as long as it would take someone to Sign In and then Sign out? But that's just a guess based on changes to a current Profile when Signed In from being Offline. In other words, a few whole seconds.

As of when, at least once within every 24 hours.

 

Try doing a hard reset on the console to see if it helps. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
the console. Once it is back up and operational test for results. Good Luck!

 

Remove your profile from the console (make SURE you have the email and password to get it back) then hard reset the Xbox and when it come all the way back up , re add your profile and wait while it syncs up....all should be good afterwards. .
