    Xbox Alpha Ring - Elite controller issue


    Has anyone noticed any issues with the new alpha ring? I tried submitting a support ticket but I cant with my elite controller as the issue is with the controller. What happens is when its on it suddenly started forcing everything to press the left button.
    So every single menu is stuck at the far left. The controller was sitting in its case perfectly and I have 7 controllers. No issue with any EXCEPT the elite. Apps have also been crashing and it took a couple hard reboots for them to work properly.

    Preview Ring 4, saying Preview Alpha:Time to Update

    Hey, I'm in Preview Ring 4 of the Xbox Insider Program, but my announcements page says "Preview Alpha: Time to update". Is this an issue or am I now in Preview Alpha ring? Thanks!

    What requirements i should have to joing in Alpha Ring after many Months Activity in Beta Ring?

    Hello,

    i am from Germany and using XBOX Classic since April/May 2002, then XBOX 360, then XBOX ONE and now XBOX ONE X. Since 2016 i am using XBOX Insider Hub and i stay in Beta Ring, tested some Game Previews and Apps.

    Now i want to join Alpha Ring, but Microsoft Support tells me, the only way i can join Alpha Ring ist via Invite from another People in the Alpha Ring.

    But i dont know anyone in Alpha Ring.

    What can i do to join Alpha Ring in XBOX Insider Hub?

    Hi, I can't say I have that issue with my Elite controller and I'm in the Alpha ring, the LB button isn't jammed in is it ?

    Have you tried resyncing the controller since the update? I’m wondering if the stick was slightly left during the initialization and now reads center as left.

    Resyncing worked for the moment. its still super touchy but isnt freaking out

    New Xbox one updates.

    If your friend is in the Xbox Insider Program, it might be that the Guide re-arrangement feature is currently in testing for the Alpha and Alpha Skip-Ahead rings. He could start the Xbox Insider App and check which ring he is enrolled in.

    If he's eligible, he might have the chance to move up to an Alpha ring, but also at the risk of new stuff not working. So he should really consider if it's worth moving up to a less stable ring.

    When that new feature is being released to lower rings or the general public depends on how many issues the Alpha Testers find with the feature.

    Only if it's considered to run stable, it'll be released to lower rings or for general availability.
