Xbox age restiction

Exactly what it says on the tin. got an age restriction error message and tried numerous ways of changing it but nothing works, my account states my age, the stupid family thing just takes me in circles when im trying to change settings with no actual option to just change it. i cant leave this family thing ive been lumped into etc.

tried alternate methods like changing my age on my profile and saving then relogging etc. nope nothing.

Can i play the damn games i pay for please?

Im ancient, so how do i do that? Theres no option to and all the options at the bottom just take me to help pages, like mate i just want a button to turn it off, why is it so freaking condeluded?

If you're in a family group and you're still a minor, the organizer account or the adult is the one that can remove you from the group.

I would like to clarify, what are you trying to access or perform when the age restriction occurs?

Thank you so much for the detailed information. First, kindly sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/family/home then check if there is an organizer linked to yours, once confirmed that there is none, it can be the Xbox app so please perform the steps below:

Settings > Apps & Features > Apps > Search "Xbox" > Advanced Options > Repair & Reset.

Dowloading games from game pass on my pc, ive got 18+ rated games already installed and now its saying i cant install others because the app doesnt understand what year people were born (im the only person on my account)
