    Xbox Advanced Exchange Issue


    After hours of troubleshooting online with a representative, they deemed it was necessary for me to send the xbox one in for repair. I was kind of upset that it would take 14 days so they offered the advanced exchange option telling me I would receive a
    "new" xbox one. I quickly agreed but after talking with the representative I found out that it was going to be used. After a couple of more hours online with the representative and her manager I finally caved and told them to ship me the refurb.

    Then after leaving the xbox one unplugged for over 12 hours it miraculously started working again. I called that day to cancel the service order and I was informed that the refurb was already on its way to being shipped. I was informed to send the refurb
    back and I would not be charged so I declined the package from fed ex.

    19 days after the console was delivered back to Redmond, WA, I recieved a $424 charge from them for the console.

    At first they wanted to claim that I had received the xbox one and that I had not sent one back. After telling the guy to enter my tracking number into FedEx's website, and not use whatever system they use to track their service information, they guy was
    on board with me and said that they would refund me. I was told it would take 14 days. I was very upset that their mistake had caused me to miss out on some of my vacation that I had been on out of the country (I was using the hotel receptionists phone) so
    I asked to speak with a manager. They guy told me I could not speak with a manager, but after relaying to him how much of an inconvenience they have caused me he put me on hold without saying a word.

    After about ten minutes on hold with no way of knowing if anyone would ever pick up the phone I again, I was finally able to speak with a manager. His reason for the charge was that the process had been broken by sending back the same console. I told him
    this was unacceptable because they had the console 19 days prior to the charge, but he insisted nothing could be done.

    Both of the service agents were very insistent that I would just have to wait to get my money back. After my chat with support, I received an email telling me that the funds would be refunded but it would take up to 30 days.

    Needless to say, unless I can get some help here, I am going to Playstation and Linux or Apple and I will never look back. I just want my money back now because I should have never been charged in the first place. This whole situation has made me lose my
    faith in Microsoft and makes me realize that have worse customer service than Comcast.

    Advanced Exchange for Poland (after official release)?

    Hi there,

    I was wondering if I will be able to use so called Advanced Exchange in my case, which is:

    I already have Xbox One but it suffers controller dicsonnections issue, that's why I would like to exchange it.

    Will there be an Advanced Exchange option after Xbox One will be officially released here in Poland for my Xbox One (which was brought from Germany or UK - I'm not sure)?

    Xbox One failure/advanced exchange issue

    Hey guys, never posted here before but was someone could possibly help. My xbox one seems to be fried. It makes the chirp noise when I attempt to power it on but shuts down immediately. Have tried it at multiple locations with multiple different power bricks
    and cords. Seems to be the console. My warranty expired about 20 days ago but I was told I was still in the 30 day grace period and that I could do a free service exchange. I set up the request, received my shipping label, and am ready to ship it out. However,
    I learned of the advanced exchange option and called back to change my request to an advanced exchange. After 2 hours on the phone being given the runaround with support personnel and multiple supervisors I was told that an advanced exchange was not possible
    for my console bc my warranty is in the "grace period". I kindly disputed and was told that it was their policy. However, there is zero mention of anything of that nature in the service, terms, and conditions as I have searched endlessly. Any help or advice
    would be appreciated. Thank you.

    I am starting a countdown:

    Since XBOX falsely charged my debit card and I had to call support, 5 days have passed. I have yet to receive a refund.

    BTW... I have a fraudulent billing investigation open with CHASE right now.

    Since XBOX falsely charged my debit card and I had to call support, 11 days have passed. I have yet to receive a refund.

    Here is all that has been done:

    March 5, 2015 -

    I received an email from a customer advocate. The email came in 6:43PM EST. I replied to the email with all the information requested about 15 minutes after I had received the email.

    March 9, 2015 -

    I received a phone call and another email from the same customer advocate. This time he contacted me a bit earlier, about 5:30PM EST. Unfortunately, I was not able to respond until about 7:30PM EST. He seemed confused about the issue and so I had to send
    him the SN of my console to help clear things up.

    I have not had any additional communication with anyone on the issue since March 9th. I feel as though Microsoft and Xbox do not care if I get my money back at this point.

    Since XBOX falsely charged my debit card and I had to call support, 13 days have passed. I have yet to receive a refund.

    I finally received another email from the customer advocate I have been in contact with. Apparently they are in the process of issuing a refund. Not sure what to think here, because I was already told this by the support representative on the phone on February
    28th.

    I am so done with Microsoft at this point. Nobody has done anything to speed up the process. Nobody has mentioned anything to me about compensating me for all of the trouble I have had to go through, and I have expressed on several occasions that I feel
    as though I should be compensated. Not to mention that they also have not refunded the $30 processing fee they charged me. I was told that I would be refunded for that when they received the Xbox One back.

    i called xbox support center again today. i spent 3.5 hours on the phone with them while they're telling me i just need to wait 24 hours again. eventually a supervisor hung up on me because i wanted to continue to wait on the phone with them. is there anyone else that i can reach out to for support on this?
