    Xbox adult account needs to become Childs


    When i first got my son an xbox i set up an adult and childs account. Unwittingly i let my son use the adult account and now he has all his contacts/games etc under that username so its tricky to change. However i would like to monitor the amount of time
    he is spending on the xbox and it appears the adult account does not record this. How can i change the account from adult to child without affecting his contacts/games status etc. Thanks

    It's not possible to change an adult account to a child account. You would have to create a new child account for him, but he would have to start all over.

    Child accounts are automated and will graduate to adult accounts once they reach the proper age.

    Unfortunately, it is not possible to change a child account into an adult account outside of the automatic timeline.

    Rest assured the account will become an adult account at the appropriate time for your region.
