    If someone is being annoying you mute them for the whole party. A bit like kicking someone but not actually doing it. You can only do it as party leader.

    Party leaders do need the ability to kick someone out of the party. And my reasoning is... often times a friend in my party will leave longer than expected. His controller goes to sleep and then my party has to listen to ambient noise. Yeah we could all
    mute him. But i'd rather kick him and then re invite him when he comes back.

    I do not believe you can avoid being a party leader unless someone else already is, or you promote a user in your party as party leader.

    go to your party screen and press 'X' this toggles the mute and unmute on the party.

    the 'Y' button toggles you muting your microphone also in the party screen :)

    having same problem and none of the "help" will work because it doesnt come with an error code. Its bs. It only happens when i add someone and next time im in a party chat with them they are muted.
