Xbox adaptive controller in combination with Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick (button remap)

I was wondering if in the (near) future there will be an update Xbox accessoires software where we can remap the buttons on a USB device connected through the Xbox Adaptive controller, like the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick.

We bought the adaptive controller and a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick because we hoped that this would enable my wife to play on the Xbox again after she lost her lower left arm due to cancer.

Let me say that I am impressed by Microsofts initiative to develop the Adaptive controller and I think that button remapping on a connected USB device would be something that is simply overlooked right now.

At the moment I got it working in combination with a cronusmax, but this solution is very cumbersome as the setup is pretty complex as it requires several USB cables for all connections, an additional Xbox controller for authentication and a laptop that does
button remapping translation.

If this all could be handled by the software for the adaptive controller that would save us a lot of cables going through the living room as it will be wireless and it removes also the laptop and additional Xbox controller.

New XBox adaptive controller

I am using a newly purchased XBox adaptive controller with a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick and I am having difficulty configuring buttons on the joystick. Is there a way to remap the X and Y buttons
to work on the joystick?

 

Adaptive Xbox controller and joystick

Logitech Extreme Pro 3D Joystick is actually one of the recommended joystick or accessory for the Xbox adaptive controller. However, we can only use the Joystick and not the buttons and thumbstick, for now.

 

If this is not already supported (I could only find the default mappings for your joystick) you should submit your idea here to have people vote on it or search to see if it's already been submitted:

That's actually a good idea, and the best place to post this would be on the
xboxideas.uservoice.com website. The more votes the post gets, the more chance this would happen.
