XBOX adaptive controller for WIndows 10 control

Hi folks, i work supporting children with additional needs in education and have been waiting for the xbox adaptive controller for a while now, primarily because it offers the opportunity of many switches running through one box with the two big switches
always available at an amazing price as two switches and a box can set me back £200....I was hoping- to be able to remap the front buttons to move right and select.

I seem unable to get these to work. THis would allow basic key selection on the win 10 on screen keyboard.

There are obviously more i can do with the device once i have accomplished this.

I accept this device has been built for xbox but hopefully it can be useful for windows 10 etc, normally switches (when using 2) would be set to space and enter or right and enter, When i setup the buttons to do this, A is right movement B is set to X but
the software advises i need to map to B -----,

Any advice would be greatfully received.

Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows - using Controller with other Game

Hello,

i bought the XBox Wireless-Adapter for Windows and can use my Xbox-Controller with the Windows 10 App Xbox to Control my Xbox remote. But i can´t use the Controller with other Windows Games, if i connect the Controller via USB-Cable it is possible.

Is there any way to use the Controller wireless on my pc with the Adapter and other games?

I'm not familiar with the Xbox Adaptive controller, but I'm 100% sure it's been made for both PC and Xbox. I guess this video can help solve configuration issues.

To Windows, XAC is a gamepad/joystick, not a USB keyboard. However, the utility JoyToKey converts gamepad/joystick buttons to keystores.
