    Xbox Adaptive Controller charging


    Since it has an internal lithium battery, should I be waiting till it dies to charge ( inconvient because if playing, I must stop to charge for at least 1 hour) or if I play regularly can I charge one time a week on the same day? It lasts 25 hours, which would be about a once a week charge based on how long and frequently I play.

    Wired controller would be the best/easiest option. The wireless and the charge and play kit will only charge through the pc, but there are adapters available like the ones seen here

    The Xbox 360 controller, assuming you’re using wireless only charges via USB. You would need to get the now discontinued 360 wireless adapter

    Any Xbox one controller will connect via USB, Bluetooth, or the Xbox wireless adapter. You need to use USB or the Xbox adapter for headset support

    The play & charge cable only charges the controller, it does not transmit any data. For it to work you need the adapter or a wired controller.

    The cable for the plug and charge kit is strictly for charging, it does not transmit any data. You will need an Xbox 360 wireless adapter to use the controller with your PC.
