    Xbox adaptive Controller and Triggers?

What is everybody using on the adaptive controller that approximates the variability of triggers? Foot Pedals? Really need something. A button does not cut it with the trigger, especially if you are playing something like rocket league.

    thanks!

    :)

    Xbox adaptive Controller and Triggers?

There are quite possibly some third party options that may be compatible with the adaptive controller board that may give you the variability you seek. I'm not sure how useful they are, but I've seen some people use a newer version of the old school Atari
joystick that has a little trigger on the backside of the joystick. As you mentioned though, a foot pedal could work as a trigger if you map it to the controller correctly.

Ive got that. There are ports for each device you might plug in on the back.

Issue is, if you plug a button device into a trigger port you dont get the variability of the trigger.

I have not found a device to plug unto the adaptive controller trigger ports that provides the trigger range of motion.

the easiest i think would be a peddle but im not sure thats what people do

    Hey there J K Twinkle!

Sorry to hear you are unable to map the Triggers to the A & B buttons. I did attempt to map my Adaptive controller and was able to do this through the Xbox accessories app.

Go ahead and take a look at the following support page for help on Mapping your Xbox One adaptive.

Once you are on the Button Mapping screen you can select the A button and you should see the options to map it to a specific function, in this case you would be looking for the Left Trigger. Same thing with the B button you will map that one to the Left
    Trigger.

Give this a try and let us know if it has helped.
