    Xbox adapter for windows 10 & Xbox Series X


    Does any body know if MS are going to support the Windows 10 adapter? Appreciate that it replicates the native connection but its useful if you use a distributed setup with USB support, e.g. an HDMI matrix that can send the connection to different locations around the house. The advantage would be the ability to use the controller/headsets without range issues as you could just take the dongle with you to which ever location the output is placed AND also it would allow a seamless movement to a windows 10 PC without having to repair every time.

    Thoughts? Would be great if this could be done as the dongle is probably quite simple to integrate with the OS that powers the consoles.

    Xbox Elite Controller 2 will not connect VIA usb or Bluetooth to my pc

    The original XBox Elite controller requires the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 so without that adapter it will not be recognized properly by Windows. The newer, Elite Series 2 can connect to a Windows 10 PC without the need of an adapter.

    The problem is not with any XBOX console, but when you use the headset with Windows 10. Only on PC you have such problems.

    Yes, it's connected with xbox wireless adapter.

    I have XBOX SERIES X and there is not problem there.

    The xbox series x isnt an xbox one
    its the same architecture, just higher spec, it will most likely be based on the windows 10 os still so in theory should support the kinect but with the usb adapter like the s and x.
