xbox acting weird does respond slow

hello , there i got a question about my controller since yesterday my controller act's weird and slow i din't drop it it just happens is there a way to fix it or is it bcs its getting old can some one help me with this thank you very very much

Xbox acting weird?

Nope...It still happens...The light will go off random times and wont come back on, but my controller and everything else works normally.As I said I have OCD so this is a huge deal for me. Im also worried my console is reaching its end.

OK so im gonna explian my issue the best way I can.At random times...my xbox will not show that a controller is connected (the console lights on the front dont light up).But my controller doesnt act up and works fine.Should I be worried that my xbox is going
to die soon?I bought it in 2008.Thanks for the help

this will hopefull solve your issue , Connect a controller to your Xbox One with a USB cable

Go to Settings > Devices & accessories. Select the controller.

If you have multiple controllers attached, you can select Buzz – which will cause the selected controller to vibrate.

Then select Update to download the new firmware to the controller attached via the USB cable, and the screen will show the Updating controller … progress screen

When you see the Controller updated screen, press ‘B’ to go back to the Devices & accessories main page

Reselect the controller, the Firmware version, should now be: 1.2.2236.0

Just a note: The latest time this happened to me - I was playing Overwatch and the game was acting VEEEERY slow. I then notice that it was my Xbox OS that was acting slow (very slow loading home, not loading all tiles, not loading all friends). So i restarted
and it brought me to the xbox startup error screen again. I unplugged the power and external drive, plugged them both back in, powered on, and it's like nothing happened..... it's very weird

situation still same. plus reinstalling (repairing) windows make my computer act weird. slow browser lag on videos etc.
