    Xbox acting up


    So when I tried to open up a game it said it was corrupt and to uninstall it and download it again. I did what it told me to do and when trying to open up Black Ops Cold War the screen froze and then it turned the whole system off. Now some of my games
    are uninstalled as well as my external storage is empty when it had many games saved on it. The screen kept going black and not letting me go back to the home screen then after a while it would shut off again. Has anyone else's system done this? This is the
    second time since i got Cold War that it shut the whole system down as well but the first time that it erased things or uninstalled itself and other games.

    Hey there,

    I suggest checking your storage for any corrupted files. They will show up with a yellow triangle 'warning' sign next to the file description. If you see any of these, delete them.

    Clear your system cache as well, and delete any unused game installs or demos you have occupying HDD space, that should get things sped up a bit
    as well.

    I actually just decided to make a different account my home account so I could keep my apps and games then factory restarted it ! Now everything is back to normal and I’m so happy ! :) :) thank u for your support !!

    Hi Xxmcsquizzy, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    Seems like you have indeed performed all the necessary steps, kindly try to use a different network connection such as a mobile hotspot just to check if it will work or not, also to validate if it's the console to the network connection.
