Xbox Achievements not popping?

    Xbox Achievements not popping?


    Why's this still occurring? I thought it was fixed 5 days ago.

    While playing tomb raider on the xbox an achievement popped on my windows 10 computer put not on my xbox.

    On reddit, a support member said this issue was fixed.

    Do achievements carry over from X360 for games on both X360 & X1?

    Achievements don't really carry over, well they show up on the Xbox One along with your gamerscore but you can't play the same game on both consoles and share the achievements for that game on both systems... if that makes sense (not too sure how exactly to word that)...

    It's sort of like the PC and Xbox 360 achievements (you could have played GTA IV on 360 and PC but they are 2 different sets of achievements even though those achievements are exactly the same).

    If you put in the Xbox One version of a 360 game it will not connect the 2 games together, so they are 2 sets of separate achievements.

    Yes I have gone through that article. The problem is not with unlocking the achievement, it's with the notification not popping up.

    I have to manually go to "My Profile" and then check to see if I unlocked something or not.

    A support member on the official Reddit page said this issue was fixed 5 days ago, however it is still ongoing for me. I have hard reset multiple times and even done a full factory reset still nothing.

    Very frustrated right now....

    Me too also across multiple platforms (achievements on Android not popping) , achievements on xbox 360 they pop but are not added

    Problem with achievement

    Viewing the achievement on the console while viewing the achievements in the game you're playing, or viewing that specific achievement in the Xbox app can sometimes force it to pop too. It forces a scan of the achievement against your profile and I do
    this often to make an achievement pop when it hasn't popped on its own.

    The achievements are rather bugy... JaRizzz is correct that some achievements won't pop if you disconnect from Xbox Live, but some others will still pop if you DO disconnect (Some activities achievement will pop). Best bet though, would be to ensure
    you're still connected to Xbox Live while you're playing to ensure that all achievements will pop once you've fulfilled the requirements to unlock them.
